RETREAT TO DONEGAL…
Isn’t it time to look after your own well-being? As a therapist you have committed yourself to helping others with an open and compassionate heart, but, as you well know, this can take its toll. That is why we have designed this retreat with you in mind. Escape to wild and beautiful Donegal, where Dr. Deborah Lee will lead you through personal practices and theoretical CFT frameworks (Gilbert, 2009, 2014;) that will remind you of the importance of being self-compassionate. You will leave feeling resilient, calm, strong and hopefully a little less critical of yourself.
Over four days, you will savour early morning yoga sessions with a view, hop on a boat to witness the majestic cliffs of Sliabh Liag, dine at the famous Rusty Mackerel pub, enjoy a guided walk in the hills of Donegal and even bask in the flickering light of a campfire on Muckross Beach.
Retreat to Donegal with us and spend a precious few days looking after yourself, so that you’re emotionally equipped to go back to reality and look after everyone else.
Some knowledge of CFT would be helpful to those who want to attend, but Dr. Lee will visit the core teachings through the retreat as she focuses on self- practice.
